"Eric Daw Custom Guitars" is a high-end guitar pickup brand that is carefully hand-wound one by one in Idaho Falls, USA.We were surprised to be able to enjoy the depth and feel that could only be felt from vintage guitars from the 1950s and pickups made by legendary craftsman Abigail Ybarra, who worked at the Fender Custom Shop, in a new product, so MION has decided to carry Eric Doe products.We have a wide variety of pickup lineups so that you can feel the good old American flavor from your amplifier without any modern seasoning.

As the first store in Japan to accept orders and officially sell Eric Doe pickups, we will strive to further popularize and sell Eric Doe products.

This is the "Patent Denied Custom Humbucker" that we custom ordered.Two humbuckers are included in the set.This is a product that will be completed in 2025.

This pickup has the following specifications:

・Rough cast alnico V bar magnet
・Construction housed under a black butyrate bobbin
・Wound with 42 AWG plain enamel coated magnetic wire
-Cover is non-plated nickel.They are extremely transparent to the sound and provide a more open tone than traditional covered pickups.
・Vintage style 2-core braided wire is used for wiring.

Eric Doe pickups are carefully crafted to the highest possible standards using only the finest materials.These instruments are not made by trained workers or machines, but are entirely hand-wound using a direct-drive winding machine that was created by researching the winding machines used in the early days of electric guitars in the 1950s.

Since the wire is wound while being guided by hand, a "scatter winding" (random winding) coil pattern is created that cannot be reproduced by machines.This is the secret behind the sound of vintage pickups that are still highly regarded today.

We use the highest quality American-made alnico magnets and enamel-coated magnet wire, all selected from local sources.Alnico pole pieces (magnetic poles) are manually charged with magnetic force using a self-made magnetic charging device.
Our aim is to create completely handmade boutique pickups that aim for world-class sound without making any compromises to reduce costs.

These pickups are intentionally made to be slightly microphonic (easily pick up sound like a microphone), making them unsuitable for high gain settings.This model values ​​the texture of vintage tones.
