1985 – The Analog Spark
It all started with a deep love for sound. Founded as 株式会社イザード(K.K. Izard), we began crafting, selling, leasing, and repairing audio equipment in Japan.
Before long, we were running our own rehearsal studios—a hub for creators, dreamers, and noise-makers alike.
2014 – Crossing Borders
Berlin called. We answered.
We launched our turntable import and sales operation in the heart of Germany’s capital—because music knows no borders.
2018 – Wax On, World On
Back in Japan, we began buying vinyl records. Meanwhile, in Berlin, MION Records was born, with our first physical store and online shop.
What started as passion was quickly turning into something bigger.
2020 – Records on Repeat
Time for a new name. We became 株式会社MION(K.K. MION), and launched bold new ventures:
DeLIVINYL, our vinyl subscription service.
B2B business, connecting records to spaces and stories worldwide.
2021 – Tone, Craft, Soul
We launched 三音楽器 (MION gakki), a high-end musical instrument store in Japan, specializing in guitars, basses, and pickups—where craftsmanship meets soul, and gear becomes art.
2023 – London Calling
We opened our UK branch, deepening our presence in one of the world’s most iconic music markets.
2024 – Hello, America
The stage got even bigger with our US branch.
We expanded our wholesale network across dozens of countries, developed our own stock management system, and moved into a brand new headquarters in Japan.
2025 – The Top 5 Club
From a rehearsal studio in Japan to a vinyl empire with heart:
