The Retro Wind Stratocaster set is the lowest output of any Montees Strato pickup, providing a balanced, musical sound.

When you play the chords, the sound is beautifully organized, with a warm chime-like high range, and a tight, woody rhythm.The drive is clear and never jarring.Only partial potting is required to ensure high resolution.

This pickup also goes great with modern wiring options.By customizing the series with wires, you can get a thick sound like a humbucker.

It features vintage-style cross, pushback wire and forbon flat work.Standard mid-pickup is RWRP (reverse winding/reverse magnetic pole), and hum cancellation is possible at positions 2 and 4.You can also specify RWRP for the bridge pickup, making it ideal for those who want to use Series Blend Pot Mods (a series mix modification).

Standard pole pieces do not have any steps.This is because Montees believes that flat pole pieces are better suited to modern guitars.Recommended for those looking for a modern classic with a modern twist on vintage strato tones.
