Gibson Les Paul Deluxe 1976 w/ Patent No. Humbucker Pickups
Gibson Les Paul Deluxe 1976 w/ Patent No. Humbucker Pickups
The 1976 model, the Les Paul Deluxe, is now in stock, and is made by changing the pickup of the Gibson Les Paul Standard, which was reproduced in 1968, into a mini humbucker. It weighs 4.55kg.
The classic 70s specs include a maple top and mahogany body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. It is believed that it is originally equipped with a mini humbucker pickup, but this one is mounted with two Gibson humbuckers with "PAT number engraved" on the back.At the time, Gibsons sometimes ordered a custom-made humbucker in Deluxe, so it's difficult to make a conclusion, but it is also possible that it was sold in this form, which was converted into a humbucker.(Factory Route). The internal wiring and pots are equipped with original 1976 products.
On the back of the head, there is a model name "LES PAUL-DELUXE" and an 8-digit serial starting with "00" on top of the serial. The large head and volute, which are characteristic of this age group, are still in good condition.
Les Paul serials at this time have been specially designed and only been used for about three years, and the first two digits are numbered on pre-printed sheets, so 99 was made in 1975, 00 was made in 1976, and 06 was made in 1977.The pegs are engraved in Cluson's "Gibson Deluxe."The truss rod cover is written as "Standard" (it is likely to be the case as it looks closer to standard).
Condition is in progress, but there are signs of a refret. On top of that, perhaps he was played quite a bit, but only about 30% of the frets are still there now, but when you actually play it, it has a solid sound typical of Gibson at the time.Even at the moment, it's not that difficult to play, and you can play it as hard as you want.Of course, I will consider replacing the frets in the future, but I think I will be able to continue using it for a long time. The rosewood fingerboard is also dark, and the binding color gives off a strong vintage feel, making it completely different from the current ones. Most of the hardware is probably original, but only the bridge has been replaced with a new one.
Not only is it a full-length rock sound, but the sunburst colors, which are flavorful that you can't get with relics, and the scars create a dignified look, making it cool. It's a humbucker and is easier to use than the so-called regular deluxe, and it was the best piece so there were no particular drawbacks.
