The 2015 model "DC-15ME", which is relatively rare among Martin models, has an all-mahogany structure, a cutaway, and a built-in pickup.

Its most appealing feature is its warm, rounded, and calm tone.The all-mahogany structure provides a natural compression feeling, a pleasant midrange bulge, and the rich bass typical of a dreadnought, but it's not too sharp and has an enveloping tone.
It has the speed of rising characteristic of mahogany wood and is versatile enough to be used in both stroke and finger style.

Equipped with "Matrix VT Enhance" pickup system for higher-end models jointly developed by Martin and Fishman.Like the "Aura VT Enhance", this has an enhancement transducer attached to the bridge plate, which allows you to blend the piezo sound with the live vibration of the body.

Although it is currently out of production, it is a ready-to-use item for live performances and recording.Contrary to its simple appearance, it is a hidden gem with a deep, warm tone and excellent playability.
