The "Builder's Edition" is a top-of-the-line series that Taylor's master builder Andy Powers focuses on everything and designs the ultimate guitar.

The Builder's Edition 814ce V-Class Blacktop, which has arrived this time, features a special design with the body top of the flagship model "814ce", which is Taylor's essence, colored black.

The body top is made of Adirondack spruce, and the back is made of Indian rosewood, and of course it is a solid veneer.Normally, the 814ce is a combination of Sitka spruce and rosewood, but this Builders Edition uses Adirondack spruce, which is well-known for its response, to achieve a more delicate sound while still providing a more powerful, powerful sound.You can enjoy the spread of sound in your room without having to plug in.It is unusual for the gorgeous Adirondack spruce to be colored in black, and it has a luxurious finish.

The black color is only the top, and the sides and back are unified with brown, which is one of the stylish points.The paint is also carefully considered, and the painting method and process change for each model depending on the combination of materials, which is a unique commitment that is unique to a manufacturer that is not well known.

The "V-Class Brace" released in 2018 has dramatically improved the volume and sustain, not only in terms of texture that matches the modern music scene.It is designed with the latest technology.

Not only is its body, but the neck is tropical mahogany and the fingerboard is Crelicam Ebony, making it a carefully selected wood.The grip has a soft V-like shape, and naturally fits in with your hand, creating a comfortable playing feel regardless of the player.The pegs are also equipped with the finest model, with a gold color of 510, allowing for accurate pitch, excellent rotation, and fine adjustments based on the gear ratio.Because of the expensive pegs, these pegs are not often installed in other Taylors.

The pickup system is equipped with the familiar "ES2 Expression System II" at Taylor.The piezo is not under the saddle, but rather the side of the saddle, giving it a clear sound without any sense of compression.Even the vibrations of the entire body can be clearly expressed on stage.
