Taylor's master builder Andy Powers is particular about everything and designs the highest quality guitars in the "Builder's Edition" series.

The newly arrived "Builder's Edition 814ce V-Class Blacktop" features a special design in which the body top of the flagship model "814ce", which is the essence of Taylor, is colored black.

Adirondack spruce is used for the top of the body, Indian rosewood is used for the sides and back, and of course it is made of veneer.Normally, "814ce" is a combination of Sitka spruce and rosewood, but this builder's edition uses Adirondack spruce, which has a reputation for its response, to maintain a delicate sound while achieving a richer harmonic and powerful live sound.You can enjoy the sound spread in your room without plugging it in.The gorgeous Adirondack spruce is colored black, a rare and luxurious finish.

One of the stylish points is that only the top is black, and the sides and back are unified in brown.The fact that the paint is glossy has been carefully considered, and the fact that the painting method and process are changed for each model depending on the combination of materials is a little-known characteristic of the manufacturer.

"V-Class Bracing" announced in 2018 not only provides a texture that matches the modern music scene, but also dramatically improves volume and sustain.Designed with the latest technology.

In addition to the body, the neck is made of tropical mahogany and the fingerboard is made of Crericum ebony, both of which are carefully selected.The grip has a soft V-like shape that fits naturally in your hand, providing a comfortable playing feel for any player.The pegs are also 510 gold-colored, and are equipped with a top-of-the-line model with accurate pitch, excellent turning comfort, and fine adjustment by gear ratio.Because it is an expensive peg, it is not installed in many other tailors.

The pickup system is equipped with Taylor's familiar "ES2 Expression System II".The structure allows the piezo to touch the side of the saddle rather than under the saddle, producing a clear sound with no compression.Even the vibrations of the entire body can be clearly expressed on stage.
