GUILD D-50 NT 1981

Guild is an American guitar manufacturer, known along with Martin Gibson as one of the three major brands of acoustic guitars.

The Dreadnought-style model, the D-50 NT, has arrived this time.Made in 1981.This is a piece made at the Westerly Factory, the longest and most popular among guilds with various changes in production bases.

The top is made of Sitka spruce, the sides and back are made of rosewood, and the fingerboard and bridge are made of ebony.(The D-40 NT is a model that uses mahogany sides and back, rosewood fingerboards and bridges.) Other features include a black pickguard, original Scharlar tomatic pegs and non-scallop bracing.

The distinctive head logo and simple dot inlays make the overall appearance less luxurious and not sarcasm.The string height is currently as low as an electric one, and is in very easy to play condition.

Martin's model is positioned like the D-28, and is a model that balances everything.I was particularly surprised by the pleasantness and separation of the high range.The powerful chord strokes that are typical of guilds make you feel a bit of Gibson-like, and the deep and deep sound is attractive.Of course, it was very comfortable to play with your fingers, so you can see why it is loved by a variety of artists, regardless of genre.
