GUILD D-50NT 1981

Guild is an American guitar manufacturer that is known as one of the three major acoustic guitar brands along with Martin Gibson.

The model that has arrived this time is the D-50 NT, a dreadnought style model.It is made in 1981.Among Guild's production bases, which have undergone various changes, this one was made at the Westerly factory, which has been the longest and most consistently popular.

The top is Sitka spruce, the sides and back are rosewood, and the fingerboard and bridge are ebony.(The D-40 NT features mahogany sides and back, rosewood fingerboard and bridge.) Other features include a black pickguard, original Schaller rotomatic pegs, and non-scalloped bracing.

With its distinctive head logo and simple dot inlay, the overall appearance is neither too luxurious nor sarcastic.The string height is currently as low as an electric guitar, making it very easy to play.

In terms of Martin, it is a model that is positioned like the D-28, and is a model that has a good balance in everything.I was especially surprised by the pleasantness and sense of separation in the high range.It has a powerful sound with a Guild-like chord stroke, and it has a vaguely Gibson-like feel, and the sound has depth and depth.Of course, it was very comfortable to play with your fingers, so I can see why it is used by a variety of artists regardless of genre.

Recently, that ano (Ano-chan) has been using the 1978-made "D-50NT" in his solo concerts, and this one is three years different.You can also see it in the music video for "YOU & Ai Heaven", and you'll definitely want it after watching the video!!
