The AP-SL5 Black/R is now available from ESP's versatile AP series, which has a traditional style but allows you to create a wide range of sounds to suit your playing style.The color is black and it has a rosewood fingerboard.

A hard maple neck is set on a heavy white ash body with a strong 6-point fastening that improves the response of the sound unique to the detachable system.

The 35-inch super long scale, which is 1 inch longer than the regular scale (34 inches), increases the tension in Low-B, so you don't have to worry about down-tuning.

Two Seymour Duncan humbuckers "SMB-5D" are mounted on the pickup, and they are combined with "STC-3M4", which is also Seymour Duncan's active circuit.The volume is a switch pot, and by pulling up the knob you can instantly switch to a slap sound that cuts the midrange and boosts the low and high frequencies.
Furthermore, the mini switch allows you to switch between series/parallel/coil split.This model is capable of creating a wider range of sounds than it appears.

In addition, the strings can be tensioned in two ways: fixed to the bridge or through the back, which increases the tension and amplifies the vibrations transmitted to the body.

The true essence of ESP, the super long scale, makes this 5-string bass perfect for those who want to produce low B while maintaining tension.The playability is great, and the Duncan pickup does a good job.
