Fender Jazz Bass 1981
Fender Jazz Bass 1981
The Fender Jazz Bass is a representative electric bass model that was born in 1960.Along with the company's Precision Bass, it is loved by many players as a standard electric bass model.
This time we have arrived in 1981 jazz bass, an Olympic white colour. The head serial was in 1978, but since the dates for the pot and pickup were in 1981, it is likely that the neck was completed in 1981, and the 78-year-old neck was used.It features an exquisite fading body with a manly look with a black pickguard.
The neck has a binding block-inlay rosewood fingerboard and a heavy ash body, and uses a three-point neck joint that follows specifications from the 1970s.
The sponge under the pickup has been replaced, with the volume pots on the front and rear of the original 1979 model, and the tone pot has been replaced with a recent CTS model. When the product arrived, only the rear pickup was broken, but the same materials were used as back in time for rewiring at Eric Daw Custom Guitars, an American company that handles many repairs for the Vintage Fender.
The bridge has been replaced with a Badass product and the mounting part has been modified, but the parts such as pegs remain the original.
The grip with a stable neck that is not too thick and slim, and the sharp, clear sound is unique to this era.
When it comes to jazz bass during this period, there are many artists who use it, including Marcus Miller, and are very popular.
It is not suitable for collectors, with many modifications, but the play condition is in good condition. The scratches that must have been used intensively create an atmosphere that can't be produced with a relic, making it a bass that players looking for a practical jazz bass should definitely pick up.
