Guyatone Glory LG-1000 Deluxe
Guyatone is a brand of Tokyo Sound Co., Ltd., which was founded in 1933 as a manufacturer of electronic musical instruments and audio equipment, and is known for producing the first domestically produced electric guitars and guitar amps/effectors.Not only are the unique effects, but the bizarre guitars are still highly praised today.
This time, we have arrived the Glory LG-1000 Deluxe, a classic and highly refined domestic guitar masterpiece developed as a Guyatone original guitar. It weighs 4.45kg.
The Glory series was born as the successor to the LG-880 Marroly guitar ordered by Rory Gallagher. The LG-1000, which was released around 1978, is divided into three stages: custom, deluxe, and standard, and this is deluxe. All of these are scattered everywhere with specifications that show that they were all developed for Rory Gallagher.
The maple top and mahogany back body features a maple neck, ebony fingerboard and 648mm scale. The joint is a set neck, and the unique construction of domestic products and the original bridge creates a tight, raw sound. We pay attention to details such as the finish, which is called classic violin paint, and Glover pegs.
The pickups are equipped with two original "P1000W" humbuckers with 12 magnets, allowing you to enjoy a clear, warm, and stable sound.
The controls are VOL/TONE/TONE and a 3-way toggle selector, and the mini switch is a phase switch.
This guitar was also used by Takeda Kazuo, Sato Mitsuru, and Akiyama Kazumasa in Japan, and is a popular guitar that is still a valuable Japanese vintage.
