This time, "DGC Grand Concert Model" has arrived.Purchased new in October 2019.

This instrument is made from the spectacular Sitka spruce, which is named "Master Sitka Spruce (Bear Claw Figure)."And "Premium Nicaraguan Rosewood" is used for the sides and back.
Although the name is not very familiar, it is often written as cocobolo in the guitar world, and is made of high quality wood with beautiful heather.Delicate decorations, the position mark is a traditional diamond, and the head shines with Goodall's signature feather logo.The pickguard is a clear type, and the pegs are made of 510 gold, which is the top model.The neck is slim and has a C-shaped, versatile grip.It has a smooth satin finish that is easy to play.

The lack of a cutaway is also a factor, but even though this model is a grand concert size that is easy to hold, you will be surprised at the loudness of its raw sound.Not only does it have a powerful low range, but it also has a spacious volume when you stroke with a pick.When played in a gentle plucking manner, it picks up delicate nuances well, and the range of expression that can be expressed by the player's touch is overwhelming.

The general sound character is similar to Martin, so I don't think there are many people who don't like it.The string height is as low as an electric guitar, making it easy to play.

It has a gorgeous, thick, and strong sound in all positions, so if your living environment allows, this is a guitar you'll want to strum as hard as you can.Regarding Goodall, I have the impression that all the models have a very nice separation of strings and good sound.I would recommend it to those who like Martin, Larrivee, and Roden.
