This time, the ``D-1'' is a popular model that has received awards along with Collings' representative acoustic model ``D-2H.''It was made in 2014, but was purchased new in January 2020.

Although the "D-1" is a basic model, there is very little circulation, and it is quite valuable in the second-hand market.Sitka spruce is used for the top, and Honduran mahogany is used for the sides, back, and neck.All of them are carefully selected from the highest quality materials.

Although it uses orthodox wood materials, it has a high-end, luxurious tone that is somehow different from Martin, and combined with the vintage-like appearance and meticulous construction, it has a result that makes you feel like you are at the pinnacle of modern acoustics.
