The '69 Stratocaster' set is a model that faithfully reproduces the Stratocaster pickups from the late 1960s.Based on the pickup of a vintage 1969 Stratocaster, which is considered particularly valuable, we have made it as close to the original as possible.The sound that comes from it is a superb tone.

Montees understood that fender products from 1965 and later were not always highly praised, and saw that the unique sounds unique to this era have a unique charm.
The most distinctive features are the high range, which is as clear as glass and the modest midrange.This allows for both a clean tone with a edgy, aggressive drive.Think of Jimi Hendrix's sound.That's the world of this pickup.

After Fender was acquired by CBS in 1965, the pickup has received several cost savings.These include using thin magnets that do not have bevels (chamfering corners), and designing to reduce the number of turns and make the coil thinner.These specifications provided a pure, delicate high-frequency shine.Montees' '69' set faithfully reproduces this specification.

And like the original, this pickup also uses lacquer potting.Rather than a regular wax dip, the coil is sealed with a very thin layer of lacquer.This makes the coil mostly wax-free, achieving surprisingly dynamic and responsive properties.

This model is straightforward with the strato sound of the late 60s that is inevitable when playing aggressive rock.
