Monty's Guitars '54 Stratocaster Pickup Set

The '54 Stratocaster Pickup is a faithful reproduction of the PU installed in the 1954 Fender Stratocaster, and is a single-coil pickup with vintage nuances and a thicker, clearer sound.

It has the Telecaster-like twang of a Stratocaster from the mid-1950s, and a bright, punchy, thick mid-to-high range.Like the original, it is only partially potted, so there is no wax in the center of the coil, allowing for a more transparent and quick response.

This is a pickup that you'll want to play with a tweed or brown-face Fender amp, not only for clean tones, but also for crunch and overdrive by pushing the volume.

This PU is especially recommended for those who like the "that" sound that can be heard in the music scene of the time when combined with a Stratocaster with a maple fingerboard.

*Comes with a PU cover in white "Parchment" color with a slightly vintage feel, same as the image.
