Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Brown Sunburst 1979
Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Sunburst 1979
The 1979 Les Paul Deluxe, a representative model of the 1970s, was made by changing the pickup of the Gibson Les Paul Standard, which was remanufactured in 1968, to a mini humbucker.Weight is 4.4kg.
The classic specs of the time: maple top and mahogany body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard.Mounted with two Gibson mini humbuckers with "PAT number engraved and handwritten date (1979)" on the back. The internal wiring and pots are also original from 1979.
There is "MADE IN U.S.A" written on the back of the head, and "Deluxe" stamped on the truss rod cover. The large head and volute characteristic of this era are still intact.
The pegs are of the type with the distinctive "Gibson" logo.
As for the condition, it has been overhauled here and is in top condition.Specifically, the refret and nut have all been replaced, the bridge, tailpiece, saddle, etc. have been replaced with new ones, and the binding and inlays have been modified, making it in perfect condition. Now you can play it like new.Of course, the pickup and pot are original, so we repair them at our shop so that players who want to use them right away will be happy.
The dark color of the rosewood fingerboard and the color of the binding on Les Pauls from this period have a vintage feel, and the brown burst color is completely different from current ones.
I think the moderate output that only a mini-humbucker can provide is good for chord strokes on guitar vocals, and the sound especially when crunched has a wonderful personality that is not found in humbucker Les Pauls. It has a flavorful appearance that can't be achieved with relics, and has no flaws, making it the perfect bottle.
