Yamaha's traditional L sound is produced by the original jumbo body.This time, the popular acoustic guitar "LL16D ARE" has arrived!

In March 2014, YAMAHA's L series was fully renewed for the first time in about 10 years, and according to the serial, this is the initial batch of early days, with the production in December 2013 and specifications after being renewed.

It is an original jumbo body and all solid veneer, with Engleman spruce on the top and rosewood on the sides and back.Furthermore, it has been subjected to the unique A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) treatment, which has been used in higher-end models (such as the LL26 and LL36), achieving a deep sound that looks like it has been played for many years.

It also looks even more luxurious in terms of decoration.Avalon inlays are applied around the body and Rosetta, and diamond inlays are used for the position mark.It has an elegant look reminiscent of the higher-grade L36 series.

In terms of construction, the X-bracing is the same non-scallop as before, but during the renewal, the height and shape have been revised to improve the fit and resonance efficiency of the intersection.The neck has evolved from the traditional three-piece set to a five-piece structure that combines mahogany and rosewood, greatly improving rigidity and stability.

There are also detailed ideas for playability.The neck is molded approximately 1mm thin at the 10th fret position, improving fingering in high positions.Furthermore, by rounding the fingerboard edge, it also provides a smooth grip that fits in with your hand.

Fine adjustments have also been made to the string height and inter-string pitch, with the 6th string side being slightly lower than before and the 1st string side being slightly higher than before.The pitch between the strings has also been increased by 0.3mm, making picking more comfortable.

In addition, the new version comes standard with passive pickups.It uses SRT-based piezo elements used in the APX/CPX series, etc., and has good response and is ready to use even at live shows.

It also features a double-action truss rod that was not found in the early L series.It is a highly stable design that can handle both forward and reverse curvature.
