In 1954, the "Les Paul Custom" appeared as a high-end model of Gibson's signature model.This time, we have received a rare model "Les Paul Custom Lite" manufactured by Gibson around 1987-1989.The color is Cherry Sunburst and the weight is 4.04kg.The natural scratches and deterioration caused by use create an aura of dignity.

The "Lite" body is designed to be thinner than a regular Les Paul.This probably came about because most customs at the time were quite heavy, weighing around 5kg.The unique design is not a chambered structure, but a thinner one.

Of course, the wood material is the standard, and the current standard style is used, such as the maple top/mahogany back body, ebony fingerboard, speed knob, etc.The binding is only on the front, and the pegs are stamped GIBSON.In addition to the luxurious decorations such as split diamonds, pearloid blocks, and inlays, like regular customs, most of the colors are black, but this one is a rare combination of cherry sunburst and gold parts.

The pickups are gold-covered ``The Original HB-R/L'', commonly known as ``base pickups'', mounted on the rear and front.This masterpiece was developed with the help of Bill Lawrence, who is known as a leading pickup manufacturer, and the drive with good separation focuses on the music scene of the 80's and has a finish that is very suitable for rock.The internal wiring and parts will probably remain mostly original.

The controls are 2 volumes, 1 tone, and a mini toggle switch with coil tap, an unusual arrangement for a Les Paul.

The wood is from the 80's, and the special humbuckers are probably a big influence, but the power and sound pressure necessary for rock is sufficient.It was truly custom.Above all, it has a deep, custom-like sound, but its light weight of 4kg makes it easy to use on stage and when transporting it.
