The "American Standard" series has been sold for the longest period in Fender's regular lineup and is still popular.Even now, it has been succeeded by the successor model "American Professional" and is still popular with many players.

This time, we have received a particularly popular 1996 American Standard Stratocaster produced in the 1990s, in brown sunburst color.Since it was a commemorative year, there is a plate written 50th on the back of the headstock.Other than the plate, there are no noticeable differences from the regular model.

This model is designed for modern players, with a classic combination of an alder body, a maple neck with a spout, and a maple fingerboard, medium jumbo frets, 22F specifications, and a block saddle for the two-point tremolo.

Controls are master volume, front tone, center & rear TBX tone, and 5-way selector switch.This "TBX", which was often installed on Amesta models of this period, is a control that became famous because it was installed on the Eric Clapton model.The center click position is a full-up of the normal tone, and the 0 direction from the center is a high cut, and the 10 direction is a low cut.It is a filter-like control.It is possible to emphasize the treble range more than the normal tone, allowing for a wide range of adjustments.

The pickup is an original Fender pickup from this period, and the electrical system is probably original.

The versatile Stratocaster body and neck are both in good condition, with a deep brown sunburst color that gives off the aging of 90's wood.Amesta, which has a history of over 30 years, often has capabilities that surpass current models, and here is one that shows why it is loved by various players.This is a classic model that you won't have any complaints about while playing, and it is highly recommended.
