The Japan-limited model "Taylor 314ce J-Spec" is now in stock.

The ``314ce'' is a pickup-equipped model from the ``300'' series that uses V-Class bracing structure.This is the Japan-only version of the most orthodox and best-selling standard model in the 300 series, which is considered to be Taylor's top series.

It is characterized by changing the neck shape from Standard to Slim and the nut width from 44.45mm to 42.86mm, and the interesting point is that the neck and nut width have been narrowed to fit Japanese hands.Not only is it easier to play, but the slim neck suppresses the spread of string resonance that is transmitted to the head, and by featuring body resonance, it has the great advantage of outputting a more centered sound with the line.This is the reason why our store promotes J-Spec.

The top is painted with a gloss finish using Sitka spruce veneer, and the sides and back are painted with a satin finish using Sapele wood.Satin finishing is often done primarily to cut costs, but Taylor is particular about the satin painting method.For the higher-end series, we have differentiated the process, and are particular about the painting process that is more conscious of the sound of the body.

The neck is made of tropical mahogany veneer.The ebony fingerboard is decorated with acrylic position mark inlays in a unique Gemstone pattern.The head also has an acrylic Gemstone pattern one-point inlay on the top, and is equipped with bronze-colored chrome-plated tuners.

"V-Class Bracing" announced in 2018 not only provides a texture that matches the modern music scene, but also dramatically improves volume and sustain.Designed with the latest technology.

The pickup system is equipped with Taylor's familiar "ES2 Expression System II".The structure allows the piezo to touch the side of the saddle rather than under the saddle, producing a clear sound with no compression.Even the vibrations of the entire body can be clearly expressed on stage.
