Gibson Les Paul Custom 1976 Wine Red w/ Monty's Guitars Full Monty Humbucker Pickups Gold
Gibson Les Paul Custom 1976 Wine Red w/ Monty's Guitars Full Monty Humbucker Pickups Gold
The 1976 wine red color Les Paul Custom, which appeared as a high-end model of Gibson's signature model in 1954, is now in stock.Weight is 4.68kg.
The specifications have been changed since 1975, and the design is symbolic of the 70's, with maple sandwiched between mahogany pieces known as the "pancake body."The highest quality specifications such as an ebony fingerboard and gold parts will attract Gibson fans. One of the biggest features of this time is that the "i" in the head logo does not have a dot.The peg is marked "Gibson".It has been switched from a slender fretless wonder to wide frets (jumbo frets).
At our store, we have replaced the pickup with "Monty's Full Monty Humbucker Gold."(Please note that the original is not included)
“Monty’s Guitars” is a high-end pickup brand from London, UK.Founder Matt Gleeson has thoroughly analyzed vintage pickups and rebuilt the tone for modern players, bringing out the best performance regardless of genre.
"Full Monty" is the first pickup produced by Monty's, and is the brand's representative model that significantly increases the power of the classic humbucker. This is the model that we recommend most due to its practical on-site specifications and ease of removal. This is a special order gold cover specification.
A versatile type that covers a wide range of sounds from sweet and bright clean tones to heavy drive.Based on the design philosophy of vintage pickups, it does not have extremely high output specifications. It has a level of power that pushes the texture of the amp just the right amount, and outputs without destroying the original sound.
At the same time, the pot was replaced, the bridge was replaced with a Montreux one, and a renut was applied, so the current playing condition is excellent. There are some cracks in the paint on the back of the neck and under the volute, but this does not affect playability.
Perhaps the fact that the guitar's wood and components are from the 70's is a big factor, but the power and sound pressure necessary for rock music is definitely a Gibson custom. It was an easy-to-use guitar that produced a solid sound that would please players who use vintage guitars on stage or in recordings.
I think it's a very good choice in terms of asset value to acquire a custom made in the 70's and continue to love it.

[Appearance/Condition] There are small scratches, dents, scratches, and paint reactions all over the body, back of the neck, tip of the head, etc.The crack in the paint on the back of the neck looks like the mark from repairing a broken neck, but there is no evidence of a broken neck on the guitar itself, so it's just a crack in the paint. The strap pin has been changed to a lock type.
[Truss rod] There is plenty of room
[Frets] About 70%~
