Guild is an American guitar manufacturer, known along with Martin Gibson as one of the three major brands of acoustic guitars.

The D-40 NT, a dreadnought-style model released in 1963 under the name "BLUEDRASS JUBILEE."Made in 1977.This is a piece made at the Westerly Factory, the longest and most popular among guilds with various changes in production bases.

The top is made of Sitka spruce, the sides and back are made of mahogany, and the fingerboard and bridge are made of rosewood.

The distinctive head logo and simple dot inlays make the overall appearance less luxurious and not sarcasm.The string height is currently standard and is in easy playing condition.

Martin's model is positioned like the D-18, and is a great model with a powerful mid-low range and clear high range, perhaps because it uses mahogany.I was surprised by the volume and power of the live sound.The guild-like chord stroke string separation and solid sound were attractive, and the unique depth and depth of sound that other brands don't have.It was very comfortable to play with your fingers, so you can see why it is loved by a variety of artists, regardless of genre.

If you were to search for vintage items of the same level of quality at Martin or Gibson, it would be very expensive, so I think this guild is a very bargain item.
