MUSIC MAN StingRay 5 String H Maple Neck 1989 Black
MUSIC MAN StingRay 5 String H Maple Neck 1989 Black
The Stingray is the first four-string bass player to be equipped with an active EQ circuit since its launch in 1976.Key specifications such as a sturdy construction, a sturdy steel bridge, an elegant oval pickguard, a 3-to-1 peg arrangement and Musicman's unique humbucker have been handed down from around 50 years ago to the present day.
The 1989 5-string model, the "StingRay 5 H," has arrived. It is black and weighs 4.63kg.This simple model features an ash body, a maple neck, a 22F maple fingerboard, a black pickguard, a 3-band EQ, and a humbucker.
The 5-string StingRay 5 was introduced around 1987, so this is a relatively early version.Another major point is that the peg arrangement is 4-to-1 and the neck joint is 6-point fastening. The pot was made in 1988, and the pickups and wiring remained original.
The controls are 3-band EQ with center clicks on the volume. The blade type selector can change the pickup connection method.
It combines a soft vintage sound with a hard sound that goes well with hard genres, making it suitable for any play style. This is a classic bass that can be used in distinctive playing techniques such as slap and tapping. This is now a 5-string Stingray, and although it has scratches and frets, it is a bass that can be used well considering its age.I think that older neck texture is really good.I recommend it.
