Notes
This Dreamstreet Lp was the initial release from the short-lived label. Cornetist Warren Vache was matched with tenor-saxophonist Scott Hamilton for one of the first times and they both represented an unexpected youth movement that helped to revitalize small-group swing. With guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli, pianist John Bunch, bassist Michael Moore and drummer Butch Miles providing stimulating backup, Vache and Hamilton make for a perfect team on such standards as "Blues Walk" (mistakenly credited to Vache), the leader's "Sissiboo" (based on "I Got Rhythm"), "Blue Bossa" and "The Walker." Heated originals alternate with advanced ballads (including "A Child Is Born" and "I Remember Clifford") during this historic but out-of-print session.Barcode and Other Identifiers
