Revised version of the [m=879] album of 1980 and [m=9917] (1981).A1: Released in its original form as "The Zero Of The Signified"; the Frippertronics were improvised in Concert at Madame Wong's, Los Angeles, second piece, first house, on July 25th 1979. The guitar solo was overdubbed at Arny's Shack, Parkstone, Dorset in 1983.
A2: Frippertronics were the first piece at the Calgary Planetarium, August 8th 1979. Drums, bass and guitar were recorded at the Hit Factory, New York in September 1979. David Byrne added vocals at Island Studios, London in November 1979. Words: © EG Music Ltd 1980.
