The release of this album is authorized by Mr. and Mrs. Eric Dolphy. Sr. whom we thank for their kind cooperation.

The first session was recorded on September 25, 1961 ("Loss", "Sorino", "Don't Blame Me") at the Swedish Broadcast station.
The second session was recorded on November 19, 1961 (all other tunes) for a TV special titled "Eric in Town". Location again was the Swedish Broadcast station in Stockholm.

There is a paper band around the sleeve printed in Japanese

The titles that appear on the release are in several cases not the actual titles:
- A1: actual title is "Les", not "Loss"
- A2: actual title is "Serene", not "Sorino"
- A3: actual title is "Miss Ann", not "Ann"
- B1: actual title is "Left Alone", not "Alone"
- B2: actual title is "G.W.", not "Geewee"
