"Sago New Material Guitars" was founded in 2004 and is located in Amagasaki City.It has many loyal users, and has now become a brand used by professionals, including Masamune Kusano (Spitz), Haruichi (Pornography), and Machiya (Japanese Musical Instrument Band).

This time, the 5-string bass “Classic Style J5” has arrived in a rare gun metallic color!Weight is 4.38kg.This is a beautiful item that was just purchased in May 2025.

"Classic-Style" is a model with Sago's own interpretation while following the traditional base.Rather than being bound by the word "vintage," we support players with new techniques and ideas, hoping that those who hold them will create new music.

This is a light aged metallic colored alder 2P body with an 864mm scale hard maple neck and rosewood fingerboard.The pegs are "Gotoh GB528" and the bridge is "Gotoh 404BO-5".

The pickup is equipped with two "Lx SS".By slightly increasing the number of turns and winding it, you get a modern sound that is easy to handle.By cutting out unnecessary ranges and outputting a well-balanced range from bass to treble, the sound has evolved into a sound with a strong presence.
The controls are volume, balancer, treble, and bass, and you can switch between active and passive by pulling the volume knob.

Originally, this one was equipped with a brown tortoiseshell pickguard, but it was changed to a gold annotated pickguard (original is also included).This matches the relic gunmetal color perfectly, giving it a cool appearance.The treble and bass knobs have also been changed for a unified look.(Original knob also included)

Personally, I thought this bass had a pretty good sound.Sago guitars and basses are of high quality and are loved by many musicians due to the quality of their instruments.The relic has a nice atmosphere, and the string height is low, making it very easy to play.It's a good 5-string bass that has a high quality that can be used in any field.The fact that it doesn't seem to overlap with other people also gets high points!
