The "Gretsch" guitar has long been a standard instrument for country music due to its light and sparkling sound, and its retro and gorgeous appearance has made it a "symbol of rock and roll."

This time, the signature model "G6131G-MY-RB Limited Edition Malcolm Young Signature Jet", which is a reproduction of the original model in "Firebird Red" color nicknamed "The Beast" and used by Malcolm in early AC/DC performances, has arrived.Made in 2023, weight is 3.48kg.This is a beautiful item that was purchased new in March 2025.

Malcolm modified it and recreated its original condition before removing the paint.The bridge and neck pickup use "TV Jones Ray Butts Full-Fidelity Filter'Tron" to reproduce the voicing of a vintage Gretsch.Furthermore, a "TV Jones Starwood" humbucker is installed in the middle position to achieve a clear and powerful tone.

It has been lightly aged, and the 12-inch radius bound ebony fingerboard is equipped with jumbo frets (plus zero frets).

The controls are also special: a 3-position pickup toggle switch, a 3-position tone switch, and a 3-position standby switch.

Distinctive features include aged pearloid "Neo-Classic" thumbnail inlays, bone nut, pinned ebony-based harmonica-style "Adjusto-Matic" bridge, "60s Jet" vibrato tailpiece, "Schaller" die-cast tuners, black pickguard, G-arrow control knobs, and aged gold hardware.
