Special Thanks to God, for without Him, this album would not have been possible.
Second: To my mother, for countless hours of patience and understanding,
and her prayers. There's no woman like her in the world! Mom, i love you.
Third: To the group I call "The Family Tradition," because we are family,
and without their musicianship and love, this record would probably be a drag.
Fourth: To my sister Carol, for love and use of her piano.
Fifth: Many thanks to Lenny White for three years of intricacy in "Twennynine."
Sixth: To Mr. Bernard Wright (who) is my little brother; many many thanks for
allowing myself and The Family Tradition our input on your first album.
Seventh: To Weldon Irvine, my friend and man of truth.
Eighth: To all the kats and kittens of Jamaica, Queens.
Ninth: To Larry and Dave, for allowing me to surface two personalities that they're never seen before.
Tenth: To Ollie "Necam 7" Cotton, for hours of endless laughing, fun, patience, and workmanship;
and to Laura, Lisa, Milton, Jackie, Chaz, Willie, Edie, Donald, and Robert, and all the other kats at A&R Studios.
Eleventh: To the GRP people: Linda, for her hugs and kisses and friendly voice on the phone,
and my man Peter, for his karate sparring matches, laugh, and wolf tickets.
Twelfth: To "The Crew" ⎯ Cheryl, Michelle, Genene; Denise, for knocking at my door at 2:30 AM
and turning my house into The Comedy Store (I love you for it and don't stop).
Last, but not least: to Miss Louisa James, who has been on the scene when there was no one to turn to. Thank you for love, patience, and understanding.
I dedicate this album to my mother, my son, my Aunt Dorothy, and my Uncle Benny (who bought me my first Farfisa organ).

Desire "Deezie" White - "Working with Blackman (Brother), The Crew, the A&R people, and FT inspired me."
Sheri "Ayo" Snyder - "To my family, loved ones, and God-love ya."
Barry "Sonjohn" Johnson - Understand cause and effect, practice self-control, use imagination, and success will come."
Steve "City" Horton - "May freedom ring in your world of fantasy and reality."
Eddie "EPM" Martinez - "Er, um, oh sit! Huh? Yeah, certainly. Thanks, Don."
Dennis "Washington" Chambers - "Hit me, it's happenin' for real!"
No STERLING stamp on run out. Greg Lee Processing number # 36673 dates this squarely in 1990,. Promos of the original pressing didn't have B&W Promo labels - only stock copies with gold promo stamped sleeves. Lastly the centre pill (mould) marks on the labels aren't the same.
