Early 1980s mono reissue with etched LKL mastering runouts, D12/D10 lacquer numbers, and SLM stamp. Jacket has 8481 Melrose Place, Los Angeles 90069 address (1963-1980) on rear slick.

Differs from other reissue Release-4825646 which has stamped mastering runouts, different lacquer numbers, and no SLM stamp.

NOTES ON SLM AND DATING: The SLM stamp indicates plating by Sheffield Lab Matrix. This release can be approximately dated to the early 1980s based on the succeeding SLM plating code (△342). SLM was incorporated in 1979 and these delta (△) codes assigned to jobs sequentially. △342 puts this release’s metalwork in close proximity to SLM codes for titles with release dates 1980 and up. On the other end, this pressing precedes the sale of Contemporary to Fantasy in 1984, after which any Contemporary reissues were printed with the Fantasy address in Berkeley, CA (as seen on Release-11155449) and/or reissued in the OJC series.

NOTES ON CONTEMPORARY ADDRESS: In 1980 the label moved from this address and newly-printed slicks instead listed a PO Box address with zip code 90028. It is possible that this was an overstock jacket printed before the 1980 move, as the SLM code would make it unlikely that pressing occurred before 1979. Other copies exist with the runouts as on this release but the PO box address on the jacket.
