Led by soulful tenor saxophonist Gene Ammons, this jam session group brought together the cream of Prestige Records in the 1950s. They released albums such as "The Big Sound" in 1958. They also performed many sessions under the name Prestige All Stars, and are known for their passionate jam session style.
