These are two character robots that appeared in a Japanese commercial in 1984. Yuji Miyake played Apogee and Jun Togawa played Perigee, and the album was released on the YEN label produced by Haruomi Hosono. This is a hidden gem of techno pop featuring a stellar lineup of YEN artists.
