Japanese singer-songwriter and actress. Born February 17, 1952, Fukuoka, Japan - died November 11, 2016. Made her singing debut in 1971 under the name Lenya on Shimoda Itsuroh's album "Yuigonka" (遺言歌). Released her own first single on Express in 1972. Moved to Victor in 1982 before leaving show-business to get married. Returned again to music in 1999 as part of the Lily & Yoji duo.
