KUWATA BAND is a Japanese rock band formed around Keisuke Kuwata of Southern All Stars. The band's record label is Taishita Label, Southern's exclusive label. The band was formed in 1986, with Kuwata's desire to "try some random rock someday" and Hara Yuko's maternity leave, after he had been active with Southern until 1985.They had a one-off reunion on the Nippon Television music program "Merry Christmas Show" which aired on December 24, 1987.
