MION.USA Return Policy

Return Policy

At MION, we strive to accurately describe and grade every used vinyl record we sell. Please review our return policy carefully. It reflects U.S. consumer law and fair business practices.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns if:

  • The item is damaged or defective upon arrival.
  • The item is materially not as described (e.g. wrong title, inaccurate condition, missing listed components).
  • You received the wrong item.

We do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse or if you simply change your mind.

2. Record Grading and Description Accuracy

We grade all records using the Goldmine standard and do our best to describe condition and included items (e.g. OBI strips, inserts, posters) accurately.

Please note: We use sample images for listings. The actual item may differ visually. Please rely on the written description for purchase decisions.

3. Missing Item Claims (e.g. OBI strip, insert)

If an item you received is missing a component that was listed in the description:

  • Please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
  • Partial refunds will not be issued without the full item being returned for verification.
  • If the claim is confirmed after return, we will issue a full or partial refund and cover return shipping.
  • If we verify that all described components were included, no refund will be issued and we may return the item at your expense.

4. Faulty or Misdescribed Items

  • Please notify us within 7 days of delivery if your item is materially defective or misdescribed.
  • If we agree the issue warrants a return, we will provide return instructions and cover shipping.
 

5. Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Items sold “as-is” or marked final sale.
  • Opened sealed records (when sold as sealed).
  • Returns initiated after the 7-day window.
  • Returns without prior authorization.

6. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email us at [email protected] with your order number and issue.
  2. We will respond with approval and return instructions, if eligible.
  3. Use a secure, trackable service to return the item. Package it carefully to avoid damage.

7. Return Shipping & Refunds

  • If the return is due to our error (e.g. wrong, damaged, or misdescribed item), we cover return shipping.
  • Otherwise, the customer is responsible for return shipping.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after inspection.
  • We refund the item price and original standard shipping (if applicable); expedited shipping is not refunded.
