Group of notable Japanese jazz players, originally formed under the King label in the 1950s but active until the late 1970s.Also produced albums with Shungo Sawada as "S. Sawada & The Modern Jazz All-stars".The group included well-known members such as Akira Miyazawa, Sadao Watanabe, Takeshi Inomata, Jiro Inagaki and Keitaro Miho.
