Artist: Friends Of Earth

This electro-funk/hip-hop unit was active between 1985 and 1986 after Haruomi Hosono disbanded YMO. Formed with Hideki Nonaka (formerly of Interiors), they developed an advanced hip-hop and funk sound (O.T.T. = Over The Top) that incorporated the electronic sounds of the time, releasing 12-inch records and other works. This fluid unit included Haruomi Hosono, Hideki Nonaka (formerly of Interiors), Anton Fier, and Masatoshi Nishimura (FENCE OF DEFENSE).
