American jazz pianist and composer.Born 17 July 1928 in San Francisco, California, USA.Died 6 February 1976 in Menlo Park, California, USA.Best known for composing music for animated TV adaptations of the Peanuts comic strip. His compositions for the series included the signature melody "Linus and Lucy" and the holiday standard "Christmas Time Is Here".
