“Monty’s Guitars” is a high-end pickup brand from London, UK.Founder Matt Gleeson has thoroughly analyzed vintage pickups and rebuilt the tone for modern players, bringing out the best performance regardless of genre.Not only are each piece carefully rolled by hand, but we also have a lineup that includes wiring kits using the finest parts and natural fingerboard care wax.

MION was captivated by its high level of technical ability, which specializes in rewinding and restoring vintage pickups, which are said to be rare in the world.As the first store in Japan to accept orders for and officially sell Monty's pickups, MION will strive to further popularize and sell Monty's products.

The "Retro Wind Telecaster" set is a model that features a vintage twang tone with a twist on Monty's Telecaster pickups.

Based on 1968 Telecaster pickups and perfectly tuned for the modern player, this set is perfect for those looking for a classic vintage sound but with easy-to-use and sophisticated tones.

It has a responsive and lively touch response, and is suitable for everything from clean country to classic rock.

The neck pickup is designed for a clear, bell-like tone reminiscent of a Stratocaster neck pickup.It has a slightly more open sound than many vintage Telecaster neck pickups.

To match this, the bridge pickup has been adjusted to slightly sweeten the high frequencies while maintaining the twang feel typical of vintage style.The result is a brilliant, clear, percussive sound with rich overtones, without the "ice pick tone" characteristic of Telecasters.

The middle position, which combines the two pickups, produces a bright and pleasantly balanced sound.
Like other Monty's pickups, only partial wax potting has been applied.The center of the coil is intentionally left free of wax for enhanced clarity and responsiveness.

The ideal fusion of vintage and modern.Adopting vintage specification pushback cross wire and Forbon flatwork, the neck pickup has an RWRP (reverse winding/reverse magnetic polarity) structure, which provides a hum canceling effect in the middle position.
