MION was captivated by its high level of technical ability, which specializes in rewinding and restoring vintage pickups, which are said to be rare in the world.As the first store in Japan to accept orders for and officially sell Monty's pickups, MION will strive to further popularize and sell Monty's products.

The ``'53 Telecaster'' set is a model of Monty's Telecaster pickups that perfectly reproduces the Telecaster sound of the early 1950s.

This pickup features a distinctive bright tone.The neck pickup has a soft, warm sound while still maintaining plenty of clarity and attack.Interestingly, this has almost the same structure as the neck pickup of the Broadcaster (the predecessor model of the Telecaster), but with slightly higher output.

The bridge pickup has an ideal balance of twang, bite, and thickness, resulting in a tone that's always bright but never dull.
It has a sound that can be said to be the ``prototype of Telecaster bridge tone'', and is a versatile character that can be used in any genre.It is clear and well-defined in any position, with an excellent sense of separation between each string, and creates a particularly beautiful harmony in the middle position.

This pickup follows a design commonly known as the ``1952 specification,'' but among the many 1950s Telecasters that Monty's has actually restored and analyzed, one made in 1953 was by far the best, so it was a faithful reproduction of that individual.

Although there are few design differences from 1952, this set was officially released as the ``53 Tele Set.''

Telecasters of the early 1950s were also unique in that they used a mix of different wire gauges.Because the neck pickup uses thinner wire, the neck side has a higher DC resistance value than the bridge, which is somewhat unusual.However, the volume balance has been adjusted very carefully, and there will be no difference in volume when switching pickups.

Like other Monty's pickups, only partial wax potting has been applied.The center of the coil is intentionally left free of wax for enhanced clarity and responsiveness.
