“Monty’s Guitars” is a high-end pickup brand from London, UK.Founder Matt Gleeson has thoroughly analyzed vintage pickups and rebuilt the tone for modern players, bringing out the best performance regardless of genre.Not only are each piece carefully rolled by hand, but we also have a lineup that includes wiring kits using the finest parts and natural fingerboard care wax.

MION was captivated by its high level of technical ability, which specializes in rewinding and restoring vintage pickups, which are said to be rare in the world.As the first store in Japan to accept orders for and officially sell Monty's pickups, MION will strive to further popularize and sell Monty's products.

The "Full Monty Humbucker" (formerly known as GT500) set is the brand's flagship humbucker.A significantly enhanced version of the classic humbucker, it is designed to be the most versatile humbucker imaginable, covering an astonishing range of sounds from sweet, bright clean tones to overwhelming rock tones and beyond.

It was the first pickup produced by Monty's, and was designed by founder Matt himself for use in cover bands.The underlying idea was to fuse the "thick, roaring bass of a high-output humbucker" with the "complex midrange and clear highs of a high-quality PAF."Many high-output humbuckers tend to have good bass but thin treble, or thick treble but loose and muddy bass.Monty's was convinced that it could be improved, and after much trial and error, we arrived at this model.

The key to this was the vintage pickup design.“Full Monty” is certainly high-powered, but not extreme.It has an exquisite output that is powerful enough to push the amp just the right amount, but not so hot that it takes away the vitality of the sound.42 gauge wire and traditional coil offset ensure sparkling highs and dynamic responsiveness.The result is a pickup that has the clarity and response of a good low-output humbucker, but with the thickness of a high-output humbucker.

It is also an excellent humbucker for SSH layout guitars, and is truly the brand's representative model, and is the ultimate replacement humbucker.
