The UnderSpun PAF Humbucker set is a model that recreates the taste of Vintage Gibson's "Paf Magic," with a different taste from the standard "PAF (Patent Applied For)."

According to Montees, "PAF" is a huge difference in history.There were several Gibson pickup machines at the time running at the same time, and it seems that all of the speeds were different.There is also an episode in which someone suddenly leaves their seats to make tea.Despite this, the number of turns was measured in "time" and not "number of turns", so there are some individuals with fewer copper wires.

In addition, the instability of the power supply of devices also creates a large variation in output, which is why Montees, who has seen a large number of PAFs, seems to believe that this is why a "magic PAF" was born by chance.

What Montees noticed is that the unique and attractive PAF output is lower than average.
Such pickups are characterized by clear, brilliant, deep tones and a pampering midrange that is not aggressive.

If Montees' standard pickup is the "bright humbucker," then this "UnderSpun PAF" is like a thick, single coil.
Of course, the structure is a perfect humbucker, but it has a fuller scent.
This is a completely different character from a regular PAF, and not only does it sound, but it also responds to the intensity of picking.Its soft and rounded stand is attractive.

In creating pickups that recreate this property, Montees not only reduces the number of turns, but also carefully designed them with great care in terms of how they wind, offset the coil, and magnet selection.Because the number of turns is small, the original sound of the guitar stands out and the chords resonate beautifully.

The parts used are the same as those of the regular PAF model.High quality nickel silver hardware, butyrate bobbins, 42 gauge plain enamel wire.The magnet uses an Alnico 5 neck and an Alnico 4 bridge.
