Monty's Guitars '62 Stratocaster Pickup Set

Monty's Guitars provides high-quality hand-wound pickups and has gained support from many professional guitarists such as The Who's Pete Townshend, Radiohead's Ed O'Brien, Mark Knopfler, and session guitarist Tim Pierce!!

The '62 Stratocaster Pickup is a faithful reproduction of the PU installed in the 1962 Fender Stratocaster, and is a single coil with a slightly brighter mid and thicker low end than the 1950s, and a soft, fat sound.

Like Monty's '54 Stratocaster Pickup, it is only partially potted, so there is no wax in the center of the coil, allowing for a clearer and faster response.

It's a pickup with a pleasant mid that clings to your picking, with not only a moderately glossy clean sound, but also a dirty overdrive sound reminiscent of blues rock of yesteryear.

In combination with a Stratocaster with a rose fingerboard, it is especially recommended for those who like the genres and sounds of the blues and rock of the time.

*Comes with a PU cover in white "Parchment" color with a slightly vintage feel, same as the image.
