Yamaha's "SG3000 Custom" gold color, Japan's legendary masterpiece, has arrived!

With Takanaka Masayoshi, Carlos Santana and Noro Kazusyo using Yamaha's SG, Yamaha's SG series still has many loyal users and is extremely popular today.

It was even more talked about when it became known that John Frusiante, who returned to "Red Hot Chili Peppers," also used it.

The SG-3000 is the culmination of the Yamaha SG series, and while maintaining the through-neck structure inherited from the SG-2000, it uses a very time-consuming T-cross one-piece structure with maple on the top, and a medium scale.
The body binding is also luxuriously made with Mexican Avalon, which has been used for the first time since the SG-175, and the overall look is unified in gold, giving it a very gorgeous look.

The controls are 2Vol, 2Tone (push/push), and 3way toggle selectors, and features a pickup that uses the magnet of the newly developed material "Spinex", which Yamaha has successfully put into practical use for the first time in the world, making it easy for players to create touch and nuance without compromising the loss of high-pitched ranges.

In addition, by installing a bi-sound system (coil tap), it is possible to create tighter and sharper sounds.

The serial is getting thinner, but I could read it as "SKIH 004" and thought it would be made in 1988, but the pickup date is written on the back of the January 1987 period, and the warranty card that came with it was also the same year, so we have decided that it was made in 1987.

The pickguard with the "Professional" printed on it also comes with a metal gold pickguard, so it can be unified to all gold.

This SG is extremely well-made, showing the spirit of the time, showing the efforts of Yamaha, using classic wood materials, trying new things and trying out different things from Gibson or Fender.

[Appearance and Condition] There are signs of wear, such as small scratches and dull parts, but overall it has a beautiful appearance.There are crack correction marks on the front of the head, and the neck is also twisted, so the first string side is warped in the direction of the line.
Currently (12F, 1.7mm on the 1st string side and 2.1mm on the 6th string side), there are no areas that interfere with playing, such as the sound getting clogged, but I think it will be difficult when playing at a low string height.
