Guild is an American guitar manufacturer that is known as one of the three major acoustic guitar brands along with Martin Gibson.

This time we have arrived, a vintage full acoustic guitar made in 1975, "X-175 BLD".
The top is arched Adirondack spruce, the sides and back are arched flame maple, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, peghead inlays with G logo, 3-ply body binding, bound fingerboard with F holes, and bone nut.

As you can tell from the product number, this model was created with Gibson's "ES-175" in mind.However, with its larger 17-inch body and contoured Venetian cutaway, the X-175 also resembles Gibson's high-end model ES-350.

Equipped with two original humbuckers, ``HB-1,'' and a master volume, the controls are as easy to use as a Gretsch.Decorated with high-end decorations such as a D'Angelico-style stepped Art Deco pickguard, the overall appearance is luxurious, but never sarcastic.The string height is currently low, making it easy to play.Our store has it set up with flatwound strings.

The full acoustic sound with depth and depth typical of Guild was appealing.The "BLD" on the label is probably an abbreviation for blonde color, a finish that is now considered valuable.The fact that it is extremely lightweight at 3.52 kg for its size also helps make it easy to use.

It would be very expensive to find a vintage item with the same level of quality in the Gibson ES series, so this Guild is a popular item among musicians because you can get the old-style feel of the 70's at a bargain price.
