Gibson L-7C 1963 #63480
The Gibson L-7C, which was released in 1948 and sold until 1972, is a cutaway version of the L7.This is a popular model as a mid-highest model in Gibson's arch top guitar lineup.
This time we have arrived the 1963 L-7C serial "63480".
Their main features include the powerful live 17-inch body, double parallel gram fingerboard inlays, and Venetian cutaway. The wood material is probably a spruce top with a maple back and sides and maple neck, and the fingerboard and bridge are Jacaranda or rosewood, and the wild wood grain that is typical of a vintage, with a weather check that has naturally entered the body over time, and the warm wood tones that come from it are a comfortable piece.
At the time, it appears that pickups were optional, but this one has not been installed.
Currently, most of the parts such as pegs remain original, but the rod cover has been replaced, refrets and nuts have been replaced, and the bridge has also been fixed, making it in perfect play condition, and the string height is low, making it very easy to play at the moment.
It has been 60 years since production, so there have been no scratches, dents, weather checks, or penetration, but there are signs of use in the bag, such as cracks, which are the taste, and the antique feel that will make you feel good just by placing it at home is also attractive.
