Gibson 60s Les Paul Standard 2004 w/ Monty's UnderSpun PAF Pickups
The 60's specification Gibson "Les Paul Standard", made in 2004, is now in stock!Currently, the specifications have changed slightly, but it is still sold as the "60s Les Paul Standard".This one was made in 2004 and weighs approximately 4.18kg.
Les Pauls from this era were broadly divided into two types: thick necks from the 1950s, or slim necks from the 1960s.Both are realistic guitars that give you the feel of the Les Pauls of the time. The neck of this one felt slim, so I think it's from the 60s.Another feature is that there are no holes in the pickguard, giving it a look that makes more use of the wood grain. The color lineup for this model includes Light Burst, Iced Tea Burst, and Honey Burst.
At our store, we are replacing the pickups with "Monty's UnderSpun PAF Pickups."(Please note that the original is not included) This is a highly recommended product from Monty's Guitars in the UK, which provides high quality hand-wound pickups and has gained support from many professional guitarists.
The "UnderSpun PAF Pickup" can be said to be close to a "thick single coil."Of course it's completely hum-cancelled, but you can feel the Fullerton (Fender-like tone) flavor. It has completely different characteristics from normal PAF, and not only does it have a different sound, but it also responds differently depending on the picking attack and gain stage. It features a soft and expansive tone during attack.
In addition, a broken neck has been repaired, frets have been adjusted, wiring has been corrected, pots have been replaced, and bridge adjustments have been made, so the current playing condition is excellent.I think there are many people who are worried about the broken neck, but compared to other Les Pauls, there are no problems, and there are currently no problems with playing.
With peeling paint on the neck and scratches on the back, it is on the level of a relic, and on the contrary, it has a dignified quality. It's not difficult to play, and since it has been adjusted at our store, you can use it on stage or recording without worrying about scratches.Get a great, easy-to-use piece that delivers the classic Gibson sound at a great price.
