Our store's unique Fender Japan Stratocaster "ST72-55 (CST-50M) BLK" with a significantly upgraded pickup is now in stock!Weight is 3.71kg.

This is a Strat with the M serial number "MADE IN JAPAN" and was manufactured between 1992 and 1993.Because it is built in by Fujigen, it maintains stable quality and high cost performance, while providing modern performance performance that can be adapted to a variety of styles.

"ST72-55" is a model that reproduces the Stratocaster of the 1970s, and features a large head, 3-point bolt-on joint, and bullet-type truss rod nut.There is a notation of "CST-50M" on the neck pocket.

It is a classic wood material with an ash body, maple neck, and 21F maple fingerboard, and the controls are simple with a 5-way selector and 1VOL/2TONE.Tone has no effect on the rear.

At our store, we have replaced the original pickup with the ``Monty's Guitars '69 Stratocaster Pickups Set.''The selector, pot, and capacitor have also been upgraded!

“Monty’s Guitars” is a high-end pickup brand from London, UK.Founder Matt Gleeson has thoroughly analyzed vintage pickups and rebuilt the tone for modern players, bringing out the best performance regardless of genre.

The ``'69 Stratocaster'' set is a model that faithfully reproduces the Stratocaster pickups from the late 1960s.Based on a particularly rare vintage 1969 Stratocaster pickup, it is as close to the original as physically possible.The sound that comes from it is the finest tone.

Monty's understood that Fender products from 1965 onwards were not always highly regarded, but he saw the unique sound of this era as having its own unique appeal.
The most distinctive features are the glass-like clear highs and the modest midrange.This allows for both a highly pure clean tone and an edgy, aggressive drive.Think of the sound of Jimi Hendrix.That's the world of this pickup.

After Fender was acquired by CBS in 1965, the pickups underwent some cost reductions.These include the use of thin magnets without bevels (chamfered corners), and designs that reduce the number of turns to make the coils thinner.These specifications provided pure and delicate high-frequency brilliance.Monty's "'69" set faithfully reproduces this specification.

And like the original, this pickup also features lacquer potting.Instead of the usual wax dip, we seal the coils with a very thin layer of lacquer.As a result, most of the inside of the coil is wax-free, resulting in amazingly dynamic and responsive characteristics.
