The RG2550MZ, an RG series that was released in 2009, has arrived as part of Ibanez's high-end "Prestige" series.It weighs 3.6kg.

It features a basswood body and a 5-piece Wizard neck with a 5-piece structure of maple and walnut.The 24th fret maple fingerboard has an impressive position mark.

"DiMarzio/IBZ" pickups (HSH layouts with two humbuckers and one single) are mounted on the pickguard of the smoke mirror.
Equipped with an Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge, it features a removable ZPS3 tuning stabilizer and a GOTOH tuner.

The limited edition model "RG2450MZ" (dot inlay specification) with a similar specification was released in 2008, so it can be seen that this model was created following that.

This "RG2550MZ" was discontinued just one year after its release, so it is a rare piece that can only be purchased second hand.This is an ideal neck for fast-playing and technical players, and has a stable tremolo system and an HSH layout that can be used from high gain to clean, making it a great value for money.
