K.Yairi is a leading Japanese acoustic guitar brand with a workshop in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture.Each piece is hand-finished by skilled craftsmen, and its quality has earned strong trust from artists both in Japan and abroad.

The compact New Yorker style acoustic guitar "NY-U2" has arrived.Made in 2020.

This model is a size larger than a mini guitar, and is easy to handle and has a rich volume, with a solid spruce top with Ovancor side and bag.It features a mahogany neck with a shape that is easy to grip and a rosewood fingerboard.

It is also designed with the concept of making use of the natural texture of wood, and by deliberately retaining the individuality of knots and grain, each piece gives it a unique look.?In addition, the neck structure with a 12-fret joint and a 635mm scale with improved playability, the compact yet rich sound.

Currently, accepting new productions has been suspended, making this a difficult model to obtain.The antique-like texture of the vintage guitars has a paint finish that gives it a good look that you wouldn't expect from a 2020 model, and I thought it was a rare challenge for Yairi.
In terms of sound, the use of Obancoal gives it a deeper sound than mahogany and a slightly more modest rounded bass than rosewood.Although it is small, it is well-balanced overall and you'll want to keep it in a corner of your room so you can always pick it up.
