Martin 00-17 1959
Martin's 00-17 was founded in 1908 and has become a model of all-mahogany that is known today since 1930.At the time, it was considered a relatively reasonable model that was within reach of ordinary people, but it has been popular in the vintage market for its ease of use and sweet sound, and in recent years it has been popular in the vintage market as a bargain model with a small size all-mahogany body.
The 1959 "00-17" arrived this time.
This one from the 1950s and 1960s, which are considered to be the golden age, has received a particularly high reputation among players. It features a sturdy, solid, all-mahogany body, simple dot inlays and 14th floor joints. There are no bindings. What is the fingerboard? It is a Brazilian rosewood (Jacaranda), and uses a 628mm scale and approximately 41.3mm nut width. The soft V-shaped neck with a moderate thickness is also wonderful.
The natural brown color with a satin finish and the cute look of the tortoise pickguard has changed over time to create an airy appearance, giving it a tasteful look.
The all-mahogany structure gives it a warm midrange, soft highs and a firm sound, giving it a delicate nuance that is suitable for finger picking, blues, and folk styles.?It has a rich, matured sound that is unique to vintage items.
It is believed that some parts such as frets have been replaced, but please be aware that it may be difficult to make a conclusion. It had a very woody sound, so this is a film that allows you to experience the vintage Martin, which is perfect for anyone looking for a small, all-maho acoustic guitar.
